Victor has dedicated his career to advocating for people and improving the lives of New Mexicans. He is passionate about helping individuals and families rebuild after suffering from injuries and standing up to powerful institutions when their actions cause harm. He believes every client deserves an attorney who is accessible, prepared, and relentless in pursuing the justice and accountability they deserve.
Before joining Youngers Law, Victor served in senior leadership roles in New Mexico state government, including as Legislative Director to Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and later as Deputy Superintendent of the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department. In those positions, he advised executive leadership on complex legal and legislative matters, negotiated across government and with diverse stakeholders, and helped lead statewide initiatives affecting communities throughout New Mexico. His experience navigating complex institutions gives him a unique perspective when advocating for individuals facing powerful organizations.
Victor earned his law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He received the Dean’s Award and Torts Scholar Award, among the law school’s highest honors. During law school, he worked in the chambers of United States District Judge Kathleen Cardone of the Western District of Texas, gaining firsthand insight into how courts evaluate evidence, legal arguments, and the issues that shape a case. He also served as a teaching assistant in Legal Writing and Argumentation and Constitutional Law, further strengthening his legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
Having worked throughout New Mexico, Victor understands the communities he serves and the challenges people face when navigating the legal system after life-changing events. His leadership has been recognized by national publications, including The Advocate Magazine, as well as by local governments who has helped.
Victor combines a deep understanding of government and legal systems with rigorous legal training to represent individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries or whose civil rights have been violated. He is committed to clear communication, thorough preparation, and fierce advocacy, helping clients pursue accountability, secure meaningful results, and move forward with confidence.
